If I had a kitchen aid instead of my handheld $9 hand mixer, I'd kick off my baking in style (and with so much less effort...) with some gluten free red velvet cupcakes I've been dying to make!

If I had a cookbook it would be for the glutards (gluten intolerants) like me who want FLAVOUR but without gluten. I'm sick of the bland & crumbly. We deserve real food like everyone else!

Katie I LOVE your book! Am I too late to enter? Aaaghhh! I would love to make your Chocolate Fudge Cake using the mixer. Only because its about time I made a special sweet treat for my fella, he's a very good daddy of 5 small humans.
But I have also earmarked practically every other recipe in the book to make with or without mixer.
I think I have to have the slow roasted tomatoes with manchego for lunch tomorrow. I may or may not have drooled a bit onto the page. Yum!

Woohoo, such exciting news about your wonderful book - definitely on my wish list as I'm sure it is on zillions of other people's ;)

If I were lucky enough to be the winner of the KitchenAid I would whip up a sponge cake to serve sandwiched with whipped cream (naturally also whipped in the KitchenAid) and homemade blackberry jam from last April.

I am from the UK, if I had my own cookbook? Ooooh, probably one about simple classic combinations, like beetroot and cheese, squash and chilli...not that interesting, but I think sometimes we over-complicate cooking, back to basics is alot more inspiring!

I wish I had found you sooner, I had no idea what I was missing. I was traveling to see my daughter today and I stopped in a little out of the way shop and your book was the first thing that caught my eye. It was one of the most beautiful cookbooks I've seen in years. Can't wait to fully enjoy it.
